What is Natural Beekeeping?
Natural Beekeeping is when bees are raised in a way that mimics their natural environment with minimal intervention, maximizing overall health and allowing them to thrive on their own accord. No chemical treatments are used on any of the colonies unlike commercial beekeeping practices which rely heavily on consistent chemical/invasive treatments. In following this practice we are able to use all parts of the hive such as collecting propolis, rendering our own pure beeswax, and harvesting beebread to make quality products. The bees are not fed sugar water and rather rely on their own honey stores to feed on and survive through the winter. Natural beekeeping encourages minimal intervention and gentle observation to allow bees to thrive in their natural environment as they have for thousands of years.
Mr. Beez educated opinion: Chemically treating hives and pumping them with sugar water definitively leads to weak genetics in colonies, high susceptibility to varroa mites and other various pests, lack of nutrition within the colony and in turn, decimates wild populations of honey bees with weak genetics via drones/mating with commercial bee colonies. THIS is why there is a decline in bee populations throughout the U.S.

Beebread Honey
SUPERFOOD! (Delicious bright and fruity taste).
The most nutritionally dense product from a hive.
What is it? Bees ferment pollen to produce a potent natural probiotic to feed their young. This resource is allowed to age in the hive for 1 to 3 years before being meticulously harvested and produced into Beebread Honey. Unique in color and taste, Each jar has a blend of up to 20% beebread by weight and an incredible amount of nearly 3 billion pollen grains from thousands of flowers and various forage (160,000 pollen grains in each honeycomb cell!) One teaspoon can contain as much pollen as is found in nearly 4,000 wildflowers; will contain small amounts of wax.
Why Beebread is better than raw pollen? Due to the fermentation of the pollen, partial digestion process and subsequent enzymes from the bees, it is more easily digested and absorbed by the human body.

What is it? Propolis is an absolutely amazing product of bees and is well-known for its antimicrobial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, anticancer, antiprotozoan, and neuroprotective properties. Mr. Beez Premium Lip Balm contains Propolis, Beeswax and Honey straight from our hives with a blend of Almond Oil and Calendula. While Almond Oil is an excellent moisturizer and matches your skins natural sebum, Calendula is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to limit trans-epidermal water loss, allowing the balm to be readily absorbed and prevent continuous “chapping” – excellent for moisturizing and soothing dry or cracked lips and sensitive skin.
